BEI Certification

In November, Higher Dimensions Roofing reached a major milestone when Patrick Ruegemer and Martin both became Building Experts Institute (BEI) Certified Asphalt Shingle Roof Repairability Assessors. This is not a “show” certification or an online checkbox, it required hands-on, in-person training, detailed coursework, and extensive testing administered by the same experts who literally wrote the standards and methodologies that insurance companies rely on nationwide. This certification gives our team a significantly higher level of authority and technical accuracy when determining whether a roof is truly repairable or requires full replacement. Unlike many contractors, and even many insurance adjusters, we are now formally trained and certified to evaluate real storm damage using industry-accepted repairability criteria, eliminating guesswork and back-and-forth. For homeowners, this means clearer answers, stronger documentation, and decisions backed by the highest level of professional roofing education available.
